I met Turner Foddrell in 1994 or so, at his store in Stuart Virginia. He was super nice, and played a bunch of his songs for me. This video is a real delight, and captures what a wonderful player and singer he was. Thank you so much for posting it.

I had the pleasure knowing the Foddrells. When I first met them around 79 / 80 it was Brothers Marvin and Turner with Turner's son Lynn playing bass. I was playing music with Bob Buford when Bob and I encountered them at a gig for Blue Ridge Folklife Festival Ferrum College Virginia. They were all great guys and we certainly enjoyed listening to them and jamming with them also when none of us were actually on stage.
